3C-REN will present its Fall Regional Rorum this Friday, November 13, entitled "Taking the high road: Preparing our region's workforce for quality jobs in energy efficiency."
With an overarching goal in growing, diversifying, and upskilling the tri-county’s workforce, the event will explore strategies relating to building science and energy efficiency, including pre-apprenticeship programs, high road training partnerships, and community college classes.
Speakers will discuss existing gaps and barriers, how to improve inclusion of hard-to-reach workers, and highlight opportunities to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to enter and thrive in an evolving industry.
