We'd like to congratulate two of our staff - Michelle Zimney and Tatiana Soglin - on their recent accreditations!
Michelle, IBGC’s Senior Sustainability Consultant and LEED AP BD+C, recently completed the Passive House training course offered through 3C-REN and was fully certified last month. Of the building standard, she says “Passive House offers a way of thinking about design and construction that weds broad concepts and a relentless attention to details. Every Passive House project is an elegant solution to a complex set of calculations and material choices. It’s challenging, but really rewarding. I’m excited to help clients find those solutions.”
Tatiana has been with IBGC for two years assisting with energy modeling, LEED, and documentation for most of our GreenPoint rated projects. Describing the latter, she says “Most of our work with GreenPoint Rated focuses on multifamily housing projects, where it is a great tool to encourage the use of high-performance building practices and it can assist in funding on affordable housing projects.” With her new accreditation, she now officially joins the ranks of GreenPoint Rated Advisors.
